One of the best filet mignon steaks I’ve ever had, cooked to perfection! Our server Drew was exceptional, helpful and always smiling! Everyone in the restaurant was positive too, overall it was a great experience and tasty food.

Amazing southern American restaurant in Corvallis! Definitely give a credit for southern American restaurants, you can barely find any in Oregon.
I love their food taste and drinks too, I think it’s actually better than most of the 3 $ signs restaurants.
Service are nice but it can be long wait even tho you sit down. I visited here couple time and it average take you 2 hours to finish your meal.

Excellent food with enough variety for different food tastes. Brussel sprouts with plenty of pork belly pieces were nice and charred. Garlic burnt fries were tasty also. Had the filet mignon which was done perfectly with blue cheese (extra cost) on top. Pork chops and gumbo were good. For desert we had the the whiskey and cookie combo. Whiskey was ok but the cookies were sweet.

Wonderful restaurant with the best gumbo I have ever had. Everything was great, including the homemade cheese ball served with toasted bread, pork chop, steak, and desserts.
Great service too! We were in town for a function at Oregon State, and got finished 2 hours before our reservation. They accommodated us with no problems, and moved our reservation up by 2 hours. I really appreciated their flexibility, since we had a long drive ahead of us to return home.
Looking forward to returning soon!

In town for work and i came here tonight with two coworkers.
Very comfy place.
The food was excellent. Had the blackened cauliflower and the fillet minon and both were phenomenal. And not too expensive either.
Justine was our server and she was amazing. Super friendly and helpful with the menu. A+ for her service.

Started our evening with a set of amazing and unique cocktails. Our server was very helpful in describing the details of the dishes to help us choose. The shrimp with grits was wonderful textures and spices - highly recommend it. The pork chops must've been great since my partner ate all of it before I could try it :)
We're grateful to have found this place.

Everything about this place was a 10/10: the service, atmosphere, food, and drinks! Everything was super fresh and absolutely delicious. The house made ketchup deserves a special shoutout, it’s incredible!
The bartender was fantastic! Not only did he make excellent drinks, but he was also super personable and friendly.
We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

The most amazing vibe inside and the most attentive incredible staff!! Annie was our server and was phenomenal, continuing to check up on our table and made sure everything was tasting great after giving us the perfect amount of time to try and taste everything! We had the shrimp and grits main and the duck leg as well, both were EXTRAORDINARY!!! Desert we had butterscotch pudding and the chocolate cake! Cocktails were phenomenal to amazing experience all around 10/10

My family and I just moved to town a few weeks ago and we have grown very fond of castor. The atmosphere is welcoming and lively with beautiful plants throughout the restaurant. Service is never anything less than exceptional and the food ALWAYS hits the spot. Highly recommend the scallops with risotto, the airline chicken, and the dirty fries which has their house made pimento cheese, hot honey, and pickled jalapeños. They also offer very unique and tasty cocktails + a massive wine and whiskey/bourbon selection. The crème brûlée and the bread pudding are absolute winners for dessert. If you find yourself in the area, I can’t recommend Castor enough!
